Ask Us: Q&A
Are there any startup fees?
There is a $99 deposit that is collected at the start of dispatching services. This non-refundable deposit is applied to your account to cover any unpaid service fees & to secure your exclusive placement with CYDT. This administration fee also covers our initial intake process & covers our initial attempts to pitch your brand to freight connections. All paperwork enrollment-only accounts require a non-refundable deposit of $99 as well.
How does the process go?
Once you fill out the form, we will reach out to have a phone consultation to get more information about what your business is needing and to ensure that we make good business partners. Once you qualify for our service, you’ll receive access to our agreement. The packet is a SignNow and can be filled out on your phone or tablet. Once we receive the signed agreement & the all required documents, we begin processing your profile for opportunities with our extensive list of contacts.
Once Stage One is complete, we then start to secure loads, routes, or contracts booked on behalf of the owner-operator. Payment is required on Mondays to start your week. We expect invoices to be paid no later than Wednesday.
Do I need my own authority to work with you guys?
Most Certainly. Every carrier must have their own motor carrier number & all necessary FMCSA requirements necessary to be compliant prior to starting dispatch services with us.
What documents are required to get started?
Equipment, active authority, a signed dispatcher-carrier agreement including Power of Attorney, Signed W-9, and Proof of insurance.
How much will I gross weekly?
This is solely based on the kind of equipment the carrier has, their location and where they are willing to go. In our dispatching consultation we will have an honest conversation on what you can expect weekly and how we can pivot.
What is a Driver Qualification File?
The driver qualification file, or DQF, is an FMCSA record-keeping requirement that trucking companies must meet for every employed driver. File records are required for any driver who operates a commercial motor vehicle
How much is your fee?
We charge 12% of all booked loads. That rate can be negotiated for fleet owners with multiple trucks.
Do you do Force Dispatching?
Absolutely Not. You’re the Captain of you Ship. You make all the final decisions.
How does CYDT accept payment?
We invoice every Monday (weekly basis). We expect invoices to be paid no later than Friday (weekly basis). You can pay your invoices via Zelle, CashApp, Paypal or ACH.
